INTEGRATED ENERGY THERAPIST (IET)
MEDICAL INTUITIVE
REIKI MASTER/TEACHER,
END-OF-LIFE-DOULA
Deborah has 20 years of experience as an Integrative Energy Therapist with many modalities. Her passion is to help others reconnect with their inner self. During the birth of her first child, she was in a coma for 2 weeks and crossed over to the other side. This experience gave her a clearer understanding of her purpose and path in this life. She is also a two-time cancer survivor with a lust for life. Deborah received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and sociology; her teacher's degree from Trent University; and her psychotherapy and counselling degree from Transitional Arts university in Toronto.
Our life-force can be affected by underlying stress, grief, adrenal fatigue and environmental toxins. She focuses on clearing the energy paths within us to allow our bodies to work at its full potential. When our energies flow, our vibrations rise, optimizing internal body function, grounding and healing, and leaves us with a greater sense of being centred. She has worked with mentors in all areas of her practice and her native roots. Her life experiences have given her the ability to connect with clients on a mental/emotional, physical and spiritual level.
She specializes in Energy Therapy and Reiki. Integrative Energy Therapy (IET) is a safe, gentle, nurturing way to empower and balance your life by helping you increase your sense of well-being, life purpose, happiness, creativity, and health. Through Energy Therapy, you heal the body by activating it's natural healing energies, and by restoring energies that have become weak, disturbed, blocked or out of balance. Being grounded helps you physically, emotionally/mentally and spiritually. Deborah combines these modalities that will help you ground, align, and balance your energies to move freely though your body.
“The only thing that stands between you and you being the greatest version of you
is your belief in your own worthiness”

Melissa's purpose in life is to make an impact on others whether through a simple energetic exchange of a smile or a major life altering shift that brings more joy to one's life.
Her goal is to empower people to be in, and live in, authenticity; have the courage to accept themselves; get excited about who they are becoming; and most importantly, love themselves unconditionally.
Melissa is certified as a Life Coach & NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner, Certified Energetic Breakthrough Method Practitioner, Certified Integrated Attachment Theory Relationship Coach, and currently undergoing a certification in Mind Shift Coaching. All this gives her an abundance of tools and resources to help resolve many challenges.
Melissa specializes in working with individuals in non-traditional relationship dynamics (Non-monogamy/Polyamory Friendly). She can help navigate communication challenges, attachment styles, boundaries, jealousy, and all the other issues that come up in relationships with others and with oneself.
She uses strategies and tools to identify the deepest layer of the problem to completely dissolve the issue faster than most common mainstream life coach approaches.
What is the difference between a Therapist and a Life Coach? A Therapist treats mental illnesses, can help you heal as well as help you grow and become more self-aware. Therapy, or another level of mental health care, is needed when there are emotional or mental health issues that are disrupting your life or causing you severe distress. There is a difference between feeling a little anxious in some situations and being too anxious to leave your home, or just feeling a little "blah" versus being so depressed you can't work, or get out of bed.
A Life Coach will help you to succeed. Like therapist, life coaches help you grow and become more self-aware but are not able to treat mental illnesses. Life coaching is designed to help you become more effective, and is what you need when you want to "do better". A life coach's role isn't to give you advice on how to live, but to help you find out how you want to live, keep you inspired to achieve your goals, and hold you accountable as you take action. They can check in and nudge you when you get stuck, blocked, or scared.
Life Coaches are typically not covered under benefits.
